The Pause Gateway
The Pause Gateway is located at C1 and C2, the first two cervical vertebrae that are attached to the skull. The first cervical vertebra is known as the “Atlas” and is where the brain meets the body, while the second is known as the “Axis” as it forms the pivot point upon which the head rotates.
C1 is at the top of our spinal cord, so when it is blocked, messages and life force energy cannot pass from the brain to the body. The flow of energy into the body is compromised as a result. The mind and body become disconnected, and the mind starts working overtime - these people look like they are stuck in their heads, with many busy thoughts consuming them. Blockages of this gateway can lead to headaches, tinnitus, lethargy, feeling sluggish, migraines, eye sensitivity, noise sensitivity, irritability, insomnia, feeling sluggish, anxiety, and learning disabilities. Emotionally, you may be stuck in your thoughts, feeling fearful and lacking in trust.
The most common cause of a blockage at C1 is emotional stress caused by our constant negative talk, our negative beliefs, thoughts, and stories. You can tell when someone is stuck in their head, with their thoughts cycling relentlessly through their mind. There is so much busyness in there, the brain struggles to process it, and this causes a blockage at C1. What this means is, the brain is unable to find the body or access the vast resources of the body to help it process this stress and so it all gets stuck in this one tiny part of the spine.
When there is a blockage in the pause gateway the messages from your brain cannot flow through to the body at one hundred percent. If the cause of this blockage is not addressed, the life force and energy that we need for healing will not travel freely through the body.
Many of us have blockages that start during the birth process. Even a normal birth can cause a blockage in the pause gateway. How these blockages show up in a baby can include colic, reflux, gastroenteritis, difficulty in turning their neck, difficulty feeding, ear infections, irritability, rashes, allergies, and more.
If these blockages are not addressed, then as the little person grows up, the symptoms can continue and change into behavioral issues, headaches, learning difficulties, and anxiety. If the blockages are still not addressed, this child could be ‘the naughty person’ in their class. They could be disruptive, they may not “fit in”, or they may feel anxious about school. As they grow a little bit older, they could have problems with their eyes or ears, or experience headaches or fatigue. As we move into adulthood, the symptoms can develop into migraines, chronic headaches, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, etc. This is how blockages in the pause gateway show up throughout our stages of life.
Clearing the pause gateway is essential in helping people heal so the messages from the brain can reach the body. As long as there’s a blockage in this gateway, your body cannot feel alive with life force.
