The Spinal Flow Technique And The Passion Gateway

The Spinal Flow Technique and the Passion Gateway

Passion Gateway

The Passion Gateway is located at the lower neck around C3 to C7. The nerves in this area supply the throat, thyroid, shoulders, arms, hands, and vocal system.

When the Passion Gateway is blocked or imbalanced, energy flow and nerve flow can be interrupted, which can lead to physical symptoms affecting the throat, neck, shoulders, arms, and hands. Neck and shoulder pain, sore throats, laryngitis, thyroid issues, frequent headaches, mouth ulcers, temporomandibular disorders of the jaw (TMJ), and carpal tunnel are all common when the flow of energy through this gateway is interrupted.

Because this area governs life expression, on a metaphysical level, it is about speaking your truth and being heard. Non-physical symptoms can include social anxiety, shyness, fear of speaking, inhibited creativity, insecurity, fear of conflict, stubbornness, detachment, or apathy.

The most common stressor of the passion gateway is the emotion that wasn’t felt or expressed and so it became trapped. Not being able to speak our truth or being told what you can or cannot be. Once the blockage is stored in the passion gateway, which is at the top of the digestive system, inflammatory or phlegm-producing foods (such as dairy) that the body finds difficult to digest tend to accumulate here. The blockage prevents it from being processed and eliminated properly. This causes chemical stress to become blocked in the passion gateway, which is why this area often takes on a spongy appearance. Rashes, hives, allergies, persistent coughs, and frequent colds/flu can also be indicators of a blockage in this gateway

When the passion gateway is blocked, energy flow and nerve flow can be interrupted, and this can lead to physical symptoms affecting the head, mouth, throat, neck, shoulders, arms, and hands. You can experience hoarseness, and sore throat issues when the flow of energy through this gateway is interrupted.

The following table outlines a list of common physical conditions arising from blockages in this gateway:

● Neck pain
